I am a volunteer for the Blinded Veterans Association (bva.org). We have a small ranch in the Piney Woods of East Texas where my husband and I have retired to.
My husband is a blinded Veteran, the Nat'l Treasurer for the Board of Directors at our Headquarters in Wash. D.C. He is also the shair for the upcoming 67th National BVA Convention to be held in Galveston Texas Aug 20-23.
There is nothing more rewarding than to help others, especially our veterans. It is my passion, it is my dream to have this upcoming convention blow Galveston away. We are nearly there.
